One of my schefflera's got brown tipped leaves and the stems started to rot. The other is fine. The difference was the size of the pot they were put in. The rotting one is in a large pot and the root system wasn't big enough to dry the soil enough to keep it from rotting. The problems I had with other cuttings were caused by a similar situation.
